You snapped at your kid this morning AND you're still a good mom. You're exhausted and touched out AND you'd do anything for them. You know what you're doing AND you have no idea what you're doing. This work makes room for both.
I'm not going to tell you I'll 'witness your healing journey'. I'm going to sit with you, figure out what's actually going on, and help you get somewhere better.
You're not broken. Your nervous system is just overwhelmed. I use approaches that work with your nervous system, not against it — so your system can finally move out of survival mode and back into the present.
In the world of pregnancy and postpartum, the focus is almost always on the baby. It is easy for your own identity and your own needs to get lost in the shuffle. In this space, the focus is on you — I am here to see the person behind the parent. You deserve a space where your story is the center of the conversation.
My clients are women who look like they have it all figured out yet feel like they're unraveling on the inside. They're hard-working, lunch-packing, laundry-doing women that always have snacks ready. They're also exhausted, anxious, and quietly asking: Is this just my life now?
My work sits at the intersection of parenthood and mental health — the specific weight of anxiety during pregnancy, the grief of infertility, the identity (and body) shift of new motherhood, and the burnout that comes from being the one who holds everything together. I also work with therapists — because people who hold space for others deserve someone to hold space for them, too.
I'm not going to tell you I'll 'witness your healing journey'. I'm going to sit with you, figure out what's actually going on, and help you get somewhere better. I have 9 years of experience helping adults, a health psychology focus, and specialized training in perinatal mental health and EMDR.
